Amtrol is a great place to work. Meet some of our
associates and find out why!

Phil Papineau

Associate Since 2015

Phil started at Amtrol in May 2015 after graduating from URI with a degree in Industrial Engineering. “I was aware of Amtrol’s products and manufacturing plant from their involvement with the Capstone Design project at URI. Some good friends of mine were working on a project related to the Air & Dirt Separator at the time; a project which I later became very involved in.”

Phil is currently a Welding Manager/Manufacturing Engineer. “Working at Amtrol is great because the entire organization is just a few steps away from the manufacturing process. Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Accounting are all here at the corporate headquarters. This makes the whole work environment much more exciting. I’m lucky to work with smart, motivated people who are dedicated to Amtrol and its legacy of quality products. I’ve learned a lot about manufacturing processes here, and I’m looking forward to what’s around the corner.”

Lynn Taylor and Riley Taylor

Associates Since 2000 and 2010

Lynn has been with Amtrol for 17 years, starting as a paralegal and is currently the Manager of Legal and Warranty Administration. Her son Riley started at Amtrol in 2010 as a Tech 1 Machine Operator. “AMTROL is a great company with wonderful people and I was thrilled when Riley decided to join the AMTROL team.”

Riley is now a Manufacturing Supervisor and is happy with his decision to join Amtrol over seven years ago. “I would encourage anyone to look into Amtrol. Every starting position here can be an opportunity to find a career you enjoy. Amtrol is full of success stories. I work with people who have started at entry level operations and found lucrative, enjoyable careers in everything from skilled welding to planning, operations management and engineering.”

Carlos Tavares and Ailine Tavares

Associates Since 1998 and 2010

Carlos, a Material Handler, began his career with Amtrol over 19 years ago and his daughter Ailine is in her 7th year as a Lead Customer Service Representative. “My Dad noticed there was a Customer Service position open and he urged me to apply. He told me that Amtrol was a great company to work for with many great people.”

Carlos enjoys the teamwork aspect of working in operations. “Amtrol lives by their open door policy. The office staff, supervisors, and managers are always ready to listen to issues I may have.”

Ailine has been a valuable member of the Customer Service team and has seen first-hand the opportunities for growth. “Amtrol has allowed me to grow in many ways. Because of their education reimbursement, I have completed my HR certificate program at Bryant University. I really enjoy the great camaraderie in the company. I’ve continued to learn and be part of new projects and initiatives which makes work fun and interesting.”
