Q: What is the threaded nut on top of my well tank?
A: The top nut on your well tank is used during the manufacturing process. This has no function or utility in the field.

Q: How do I winterize my well tank?
A: In order to winterize a well tank, you will need to completely drain the tank and adjacent piping of water. Disconnect the power to your well pump, then open a drain fixture until the water pressure reads 0 PSI.

Q: How can I tell if my tank needs to be replaced?
A: Symptoms of a tank that needs replacement are rapid cycling of your pump, or low pressure in your system. Check your tank precharge air pressure by turning off the pump and draining your system of water pressure. If your tank has low or no air, your tank may need to be replaced.

Q: What is a Pro Access option for Well-X-Trol?
A: The Pro Access option is a factory installed elbow extension outside the stand to enable quicker connection to your plumbing system.
